5. Secure Disposal

When retention periods expire or records are no longer needed, records will be securely disposed of to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Physical records: Shredded or destroyed in a manner that prevents unauthorized access.

Digital records: Permanently deleted from all storage systems, including backups, using secure deletion methods.


6. Legal Holds

If Mojica International is involved in litigation, audits, or investigations, all relevant records must be retained until the matter is resolved, even if the standard retention period has expired. Legal or compliance teams will notify affected employees and contractors of any legal holds.


7. Employee and Contractor Responsibilities

All employees and contractors are responsible for adhering to this policy and ensuring that records are maintained or disposed of in accordance with the guidelines set forth. Employees and contractors must not delete or destroy any records subject to legal holds or ongoing audits.

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Mojica International reserves the right to update this policy at any time as required.
